Jump photos have been a big part of my life since 2005. As an effort to evolve as a jumper/jump-photographer, I proposed to my brother (also an avid jumpologist) that we would each take a new jump photo for every single day in 2011. It seemed daunting, but we rose to the challenge and created a portfolio larger than expected. Most days it was hard to choose only one photo to be added into the 365 collection (where other days there was just no spark). Since then, I've slowed down a considerable amount but continue to explore this form of photography. Please check back regularly for gravity defying poses as I continue on my journey for jumping greatness.

Day 19177

Photo by Tony Regalmuto, Carlsbad CA
We had a shark head join us at Callaway Golf headquarters this week. I jumped over it, and Tony made this movie poster.

Day 18255

Photo by Daniel Burns, Carlsbad CA
Been living solo out here by the beach for the last week. This was the first time I was able to nail a voice command for the camera on my phone, but it wasn't the first jump in this session...I may or may not have gotten sand in my eye right before this. Spoiler alert, it was painful.

Did a double 14er summit today: Grays and Torreys - we had perfect weather.

Photo by Luke Burns, Grays Peak Summit (14,278 ft)
Grays Peak is the highest point in North America along the Continental Divide. So levitating here is a special deal...

Day 16179

Photo by Daniel Burns, Englewood CO
Went out to capture the sunset tonight, but the clouds to the south-east were picking up insane colors and appeared much more vibrant than anything out west...

This storm cloud was also producing quite a bit of lightning during my mini session, but I wasn't lucky enough to catch any bolts on film. Still had fun floating though.
